If your material has an esoteric or controversial bent, if you're an artist with unconventional wisdom to share, baby you are 110% my target.

I know when you think about compiling all YOU know—your artistic insights, your creative breakthroughs, your hard-won creative wisdom—into slides your mind flatlines.

I know you are deathly allergic to taking your original ideas and squeezing them into a framework that 'makes sense' to people who don't understand your creative process.

So of course I don't blame you for sitting on the fence. You're just making sure you don't die. I respect that.

Now, speaking to established creators: You could do more to represent yourself. That's it. Your artistic voice deserves a teaching voice that matches its sophistication or lack thereof.
